Online Donations

You can use HoG’s secure online donation system to make a contribution online via credit card. Corporate Sponsorship

Corporate sponsorship is vital to the overall success of Hemophilia of Georgia. Wannaklot Walk Commemorative Brick Walkway

The “Wannaklot Walk” pathway will be constructed at Camp Twin Lakes, home of HoG’s Camp Wannaklot. You’re invited to participate in this special and lifelong commemorative opportunity by purchasing an engraved brick for the walkway at Camp Twin Lakes. Complimentary HoG Handbooks

Complimentary copies of The Hemophilia Handbook, La Guía de Hemofilia, and The VWD & Platelet Disorder Handbook are available to donors who make a tax-deductible contribution to Hemophilia of Georgia. Special discounted donation rates are available for individuals who have bleeding disorders as well as for HTC staff, non-profit hemophilia chapter staff, and medical providers. Camp Wannaklot

Camp Wannaklot, a week long residential camp, is the only camp in Georgia that provides children with hemophilia or other inherited bleeding disorders from the ages of 7-17 the opportunity to enjoy a traditional camp experience. Camp Wannkalot is a week long residential program and the largest single-state camp of its kind in the country. Held at Camp Twin Lakes each year, Camp Wannaklot offers educational, athletic, and recreational activities in a medically safe environment. Make a donation to Camp Wannaklot

Family Camp Programs

Family Camp brings families together for a weekend of sharing and learning with others who are part of the bleeding disorders community of Georgia.  Family Camp serves people 0-20 years old along with their immediate family members and is held at Camp Twin Lakes each Fall. Donations to Family Camp programs will be restricted to a weekend camp experience for program participants, providing information on treatment, complications and other pertinent information to families enabling them to live and cope with the bleeding disorder that affects their lives. Golf Tournament

HoG will host the 26th annual “Hit ‘Em for Hemophilia” Golf Tournament in October 2008. All proceeds from this event will go to fund research toward a cure for hemophilia and related bleeding disorders. Sponsorships for this event are available at various levels. John Youtsey Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship provides financial assistance to clients who are motivated and talented but yet lack the resources needed to attain their educational goals.  Donations to the John Youtsey Memorial Scholarship program will be restricted to providing scholarship funding for students who qualify. Planned Giving

When you make a future or planned gift, you help so many people. Safety and Prevention Program

Helmets and pads can protect children from head and joint injuries that may cause prolonged bleeding episodes, pain, or permanent damage. The Safety and Prevention Program provides helmets, kneepads and elbow pads to toddlers and young children.   In addition, it provides medical alert identification tags to clients of all ages.  Corporate sponsorship helps to fund the purchase of helmets and pads. Recurring Donations

Donations are automatic contributions to Hemophilia of Georgia with a credit card – once a month, quarterly, or can occur as frequently as you wish. Recurring donations are a very effective way to donate because it provides a steady and predictable source of income. Donations are made via the internet and can be changed or cancelled at any time. Employee Giving Programs and Matching Programs

Matching contribution programs allow employees to direct donations to Hemophilia of Georgia’s programs and services.  A matching gift program is a way to encourage employees to contribute to Hemophilia of Georgia.  Ask your company’s personnel department if they participate in such a program.
