Voluntary Recall Issued for Helixate FS & Kogenate FS
Bayer and CSL Behring have initiated a voluntary recall of two lots of Hemophilia A drugs:
- Kogenate FS
- Lot #270TN1C
- Lot #270R978
- Helixate FS
- Lot #270TN1G
- Lot #270R979
The recall is due to a decline in potency and is not a product safety issue.
If you received any of these lot numbers from the HoG or Beacon pharmacy, you will receive a phone call on Monday, July 25. If you order your clotting factor from another pharmacy, please contact that pharmacy for assistance.
