Hemophilia of Georgia Volunteer Reception

Hemophilia of Georgia is very fortunate to have many talented and accomplished volunteers who come from varied backgrounds, with different interests, skills, talents and abilities.

During 2007, nearly 200 volunteers gave over 9,000 hours to the organization. They served in a variety of ways including:

participating in board and committee meetings
attending monthly working group meetings
serving as volunteer counselors at Camp Wannaklot
assisting with the coordination and logistics of the Hit ‘Em for Hemophilia Golf Tournament
and securing corporate sponsorship for the golf tournament.

Eighty of those 200 volunteers attended a reception in their honor on April 30, 2008 at Anthony’s restaurant in Buckhead.

While some attendees were celebrating their first year with HoG, others have been volunteering with the agency for five, ten, or in some cases, more than twenty years.
