Get Involved - Volunteer with HoG!
Volunteers are at the heart of Hemophilia of Georgia and help us to fulfill our mission to improve the quality of life for all those affected by hemophilia and related bleeding disorders.
We hope you'll consider sharing some of your time and talents with us by joining our team of dedicated volunteers. Listed below are some of the ways you can make a difference. If you're ready to volunteer, simply download, complete, and return the Volunteer Application to email@example.com.
Hit 'Em for Hemophilia
Hemophilia of Georgia sponsors fundraising events throughout the year. These annual events include the Hit 'Em for Hemophilia Golf Tournament. The tournament is held in October every year. Planning committee volunteers help coordinate decorations and event set-up, and help with prize donations and corporate sponsorships. Event day volunteers assist with registration, decorations and set-up, and other tasks. There's something for everyone.
Trot to Clot
Trot to Clot events will be held in Atlanta and Augusta. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer and helping make these events successful, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org at 770- 518-8272.
If you enjoy working with children, then we have just the volunteer opportunity for you. HoG sponsors a wide variety of youth and family programs during the year. These programs include an adolescent retreat, women's awareness programs, men's activities, and spring and fall family camp weekends. Each program is designed to provide a unique opportunity for individuals and families to share concerns and ideas with others facing similar challenges.
In addition, HoG sponsors Camp Wannaklot, a weeklong summer camp for children who have an inherited bleeding disorder. Some volunteers work directly with children as camp counselors and others serve on the Camp Wannaklot planning group.
Other Volunteer Opportunities
Individuals are encouraged to utilize their unique skills and abilities in a meaningful way by joining Hemophilia of Georgia's team of dedicated volunteers.
