Trot to Clot Goes Virtual

COVID-19 has forced us to make a difficult decision. To keep you safe and healthy, we have made our Trot to Clot 5k a virtual event. But that doesn’t mean we can’t have fun.

Keep in mind that a virtual walk is the same as our normal walk except you choose the time and the location. Everything else is the same, including our goal. With your help, we can provide a camp experience for 100 children at Camp Wannaklot this summer.

All we need to do is raise $30,000, and you are the only way we can get there. Here are a few things you can do:

  • Make a donation online or contact Sarah Weikert at 770-518-8272 or srweikert@hog.org
  • Join us for a walk or run in your neighborhood on May 9. You can register for $35 and receive a family-friendly race day kit.
  • Create or join a fundraising team or raise money on your own

COVID-19 may have us down, but it has not knocked us out. We want to make this the best Trot to Clot yet.

Oh, yes, we are keeping the retro theme, so hit your neighborhoods on May 9 with your leg warmers and sweatbands. Take plenty of pictures and share them online! Happy walking!

If you had already registered or have questions, please read our FAQ or contact Community Engagement Coordinator Becca Gross at rhgross@hog.org.
