Horizons in Hemophilia, June 2010

By Kim Wilson, Camp and Activities Coordinator

Hemophilia of Georgia’s Camp Wannaklot is preparing for its 17th camping season.  We anticipate more than 150 campers this year and need to ensure that we are adequately staffed. Camp Wannaklot is a co-ed residential camp where approximately 100 volunteer counselors and medical staff will be utilized during the one week of camp.  That is why we need you for Camp Wannaklot 2010.

Counselors must be at least 18 years old, be available for the entire week of camp and have a strong desire and passion for working with children.  Read more about volunteering as a camp counselor. To volunteer, download the volunteer application or contact Kim Wilson at 770-518-8272 or kawilson@hog.org.  All Camp Wannaklot volunteers will report on Saturday, July 17, 2010 for orientation. Campers will arrive at Camp Twin Lakes on Sunday, July 18, 2010.
