Congratulations to the John W. Youtsey Memorial Scholarship Recipients

Each year, Hemophilia of Georgia awards scholarships to Georgians in the bleeding disorder community. We are happy to announce the recipients of this year’s John W. Youtsey Memorial Scholarships. We awarded the scholarship to 24 people totaling $100,000 to be used for the 2023 academic year. Congratulations to each of you!

John W. Youtsey, former professor and Associate Dean of the College of Health Sciences at Georgia State University, provided leadership to Hemophilia of Georgia from its beginning in 1973, until his death in 1996. He was a board member of Hemophilia of Georgia and chaired the Scholarship Committee. Over the years, the John W. Youtsey Memorial Scholarship Program has awarded more than $1,000,000 to deserving students to help them achieve their dreams.
