Hemophilia of Georgia (HoG) partners with Camp Twin Lakes to provide an exciting and educational Camp Wannaklot experience each summer for children and teens with bleeding disorders. Over the years, HoG has gifted Camp Twin Lakes with items that all camps they host can benefit from. Some of those include hot day misters out at the ballfield, HIPAA secured Wi-Fi, a Director’s Office at the Welcome Center, and big fans in the arena so horses could be ridden during the heat of the day. This year, HoG gave $35,000 to build a pavilion in the area of cabins 19 -24. Camp Wannaklot utilizes these cabins each summer. The pavilion will be used for shade for campers to relax in, hang out, and play games. It will also provide space for the medical team to administer medications in a centralized location during camp. We are already planning the ways we will use this new pavilion during Camp Wannaklot 2023!
