Maintaining Healthy Teeth Could Mean Less Bleeds

By Emily Brown, Director of Social Work

Published July 30, 2025

Keeping your teeth and gums healthy can help prevent potential bleeds for people with bleeding disorders and is necessary for overall patient health. Take advantage of our dental care program to help reduce gum disease or unnecessary dental treatments that can result in bleeds.

Our dental care program provides two free dental cleanings per year to qualified patients. This is the number of recommended dental visits by the National Bleeding Disorders Foundation's Steps for Living.

You must meet eligibility requirements to qualify for the program.

Please contact your HoG Outreach Social Worker or contact Emily Brown, Director of Social Work, at 770-518-8272 to discuss your eligibility for the program.
