In March the Junior Board of Directors of HoG held its annual training and planning retreat. The Junior Board supports HoG in fulfilling its mission by serving as ambassadors to raise awareness of HoG among young adults in Georgia. During the training they discussed plans on how to support HoG and specifically fundraising for Camp Wannaklot. The Junior Board is also looking for committee members, so if you would like to volunteer and support their work, please contact Deniece Chevannes at 770-518-8272 or dichevannes@hog.org.

All Junior Board members have volunteered as counselors at Camp Wannaklot and they have seen children transform and grow at camp. At the retreat, the Junior Board developed their 2014 campaign to support camp and bring more awareness of bleeding disorders to the community at large. Join the Junior Board in supporting HoG’s mission by donating to their iSupport campaign to make summer camp for children with bleeding disorders a place filled with all the joys of a traditional camp and also a safe place where campers can learn to manage their bleeding disorder.
