The Marietta Wine Market (MWM) featured Hemophilia of Georgia (HoG) at one of its September wine tasting events.  Owners Karen and Randall Heard host these events that allow guests to sample different wines. The event goal was to bring awareness to the community and to raise money. Proceeds benefited Hemophilia of Georgia.

The event featured Alex Damon, one of the regular musicians at MWM.  He played guitar and sang some great tunes as the crowd flowed throughout the market drinking wine, eating chocolate and other complimentary hors d’oeurves, and learning about HoG and bleeding disorders.

Guests were generous in donating to the raffle to win prizes from local merchants on the Marietta Square.  We would like to thank Australian Bakery Café, Bark Street Petopia, Cool Beans Coffee Roasters, Lenny’s Salon, Nail Culture Salon, Rubber Stamp Fantasy, Shillings on the Square, The Keeping Room, and Two Birds Taphouse for their donations.  Attendees were treated to a “swag” bag from Hemophilia of Georgia.  People left the event with a better understanding of how Hemophilia of Georgia helps our bleeding disorder community.
