Mary Ann McCullogh, RN-BC, Hemophilia of Georgia Outreach NurseThis month’s featured employee is Mary Ann McCullough, RN-BC. Mary Ann has been an outreach nurse for Hemophilia of Georgia since 2006. She obtained her nursing degrees at Clayton State University and Excelsior College. She has been a nurse for 31 years. Mary Ann has recently become board certified in hemostasis. Her interest in nursing comes from a true desire to help others, especially those living with a chronic condition.

In her free time, Mary Ann enjoys cooking, college football, and reading to her grandson Jude. Fall is Mary Ann’s favorite time of the year especially when it involves pumpkin spice creamer in her coffee and bonfires at her mountain cabin. Mary Ann and her husband Steve are the proud parents of four grown children and one spoiled dog, Dooley, named after the coach of their favorite SEC football team, the Georgia Bulldogs.

Mary Ann’s greatest joy is watching children grow and learn. She’s energized by teaching kids about their bleeding disorder and watching them evolve from diagnosis to independence. Camp is her favorite activity. She loves presenting Butterfly Awards to children as they learn how to self-infuse.
