Providing educational materials is one way we help clients build a community that understands their bleeding disorder. We recently developed 12 fact sheets for all the inherited bleeding disorders we serve here at Hemophilia of Georgia.

These sheets are used with school systems and daycare centers to educate teachers and staff on typical signs and symptoms to watch, as well as how to respond to a bleed. The school or daycare center can keep the sheet on file for future reference, and it includes a space for an emergency contact.

Our outreach nurses can present this information to staff if you prefer or you can download here for yourself. If you would like a nurse to present it, please contact us at 770-518-8272.

Disorders covered in the fact sheets include:

We also have a fact sheet specifically for Hemlibra treatment for hemophilia. All fact sheets can be found in our client resources section of the website.
