What a spectacular week it was as we celebrated 32 years of Camp Wannaklot with our exciting circus-themed adventure, “Under the Big Top!”
Hollie, an HoG nurse, provided self-infusion training support for a patient, Ashley, referred by the HTC who receives medication through a third-party specialty pharmacy (CVS). Although Ashley was unable to use HoG’s pharmacy due to insurance limitations, she expressed a strong desire to learn self-infusion to better manage her heavy menstrual bleeding and gain more flexibility in her schedule as a working mother. Hemophilia of Georgia (HoG) has developed a program to assist eligible applicants in pursuing career advancements. The professional development program can be used to assist in paying for expenses.
Each year, Hemophilia of Georgia awards scholarships to Georgians in the bleeding disorder community. We are happy to announce that this year, we have awarded John W. Youtsey Memorial Scholarships to 44 people totaling $200,000 to be used for the 2026 academic year. More...
