Horizons in Hemophilia, December 2011

By Vic McCarty, Director of Development

As we enjoy the holiday season, the joy of giving and counting our many blessings, Hemophilia of Georgia would like to encourage you to consider making a year-end tax deductible donation to support the HoG Scholarship Fund. Over the years, many talented individuals have benefitted from the financial assistance of the HoG scholarship fund.

During the summer of 2011, 17 people received scholarships to continue their educational goals during the 2011-2012 school year.  Each spring, HoG encourages students to apply for scholarships.  HoG social workers can answer any question that you might have regarding the eligibility and application deadlines.  In 2011, HoG awarded $50,000 in scholarship funds to deserving students.   Students who received scholarships are pursuing careers in business administration, biology, finance, history and various other fields.  HoG is very proud of the accomplishments of the scholarship recipients

If you’d like to support the HoG scholarship fund and make your end-of-year tax deductible contribution, donate online today. For additional information on ways you can support HoG or how your donations can help, please call Vic McCarty in the Development Department at 770-518-8272.
