Dental care can be challenging, and sometimes risky, for individuals with bleeding disorders. Routine procedures such as cleanings, extractions, or root canals can lead to serious bleeding complications if they are not carefully planned. Unfortunately, limited awareness among dental providers often results in delayed treatment or, in some cases, denial of care altogether.
Hemophilia of Georgia (HoG) understands the important role education has in empowering individuals and their families to live fuller lives and make informed choices about their health. For people living with hemophilia or other bleeding disorders, education to help manage their condition is a critical component of comprehensive care and support.
This year, we are thrilled to bring Score Fore a Cure back to both Alpharetta and Augusta locations, offering more opportunities for supporters, partners, and friends to come together in support of a cure for hemophilia and other bleeding disorders.
What a spectacular week it was as we celebrated 33 years of Camp Wannaklot with our exciting paradise-themed adventure!
Approximately 110 campers joined us at Camp Twin Lakes Will-A-Way to have a wonderful time, experience new adventures, make new friends, overcome fears, and learn about their bleeding disorder.
Hemophilia of Georgia (HoG) has developed a program to assist eligible applicants in pursuing career advancements. The professional development program can be used to assist in paying for expenses.
