Our Mission

Hemophilia of Georgia exists so that people in Georgia affected by bleeding disorders live as normally and productively as possible.

Our History

In 1973 Georgia families came together to form a nonprofit agency to serve the needs of the bleeding disorder community in Georgia.  Since that date, we have been in the business of providing blood clotting products, home infusion training, education and services to persons with hemophilia and other bleeding disorders.   The organization serves all Georgia clients affected by inherited bleeding disorders and their family members, including spouses and parents, and is dedicated to providing treatment and funding research to find a cure.

Guided by a volunteer Board,  including individuals with bleeding disorders, HoG meets each new challenge on the road to finding a cure by providing an expanding array of services.  HoG's programs are continually evaluated for effectiveness and service.
