Hemophilia of Georgia will host the 29th annual Hit 'Em for Hemophilia Golf Tournament on Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at the beautiful Château Élan Winery & Resort in Braselton, Georgia.  The honorary co-chairs for this year’s tournament are Bill Acree of the Atlanta Braves and Steve Sitton from AT&T.  Several Atlanta Braves celebrities are expected to attend the tournament, continuing a long-standing partnership between the Atlanta Braves and the Hit 'Em for Hemophilia Golf Tournament.  More than 250 people are expected to play on the three courses at Château Élan to raise money for bleeding disorders research.

Corporations of all sizes are invited to participate in the golf tournament and sponsorship packages can be tailored to meet the needs of any organization.  Levels of sponsorship will determine the number of golfer slots, course assignments, amount of media coverage, company signage and significant community marketing exposure for a sponsoring organization. Current sponsors of this year’s tournament include: AT&T, ADT, Baxter Healthcare, Bechtel Communications, Hewlett-Packard and Wildfire Restaurant of Perimeter Mall. Read more about corporate sponsorship online  or call Vic McCarty at the HoG office for details.

Following the tournament, participants will attend the dinner reception which also features a raffle and live and silent auctions with up to 100 prizes.  Companies or individuals who are interested in donating items for the raffle and auctions should contact Vic or Lorraine at the HoG office. Prizes for the first and second place finishing teams on each of the three courses will also be awarded at the reception, along with contest hole prizes and special sponsor recognition.
