Donating to HoG Brings People Together

Published December 10, 2009

3boysHorizons in Hemophilia, December 2009

By Vic McCarty, Director of Development

Hemophilia of Georgia would like to express our sincere appreciation to our donor friends and those individuals who have made contributions to the organization during this year. Hemophilia of Georgia hosted 26 different events for clients and their family members last year. During these dinners, camps, and retreats more than 450 people connected with others from around the state and learned more about living with inherited bleeding disorders.

Hemophilia of Georgia would not be able to continue to offer quality programs and services without the generous contributions from individuals and corporations. Today more than ever, as we are facing tough economic times, we ask that you consider making a year end tax deductible contribution to support the various programs and services that HoG offers each year. Hemophilia of Georgia exists so that people in Georgia affected by bleeding disorders live as normally and productively as possible. Your end of year donation will ensure that the organization continues to fulfill its mission to the bleeding disorder community of Georgia.

Donors who make contributions to HoG can designate the program or service the respective donation(s) would support. Each year, some of the many activities and programs that HoG offers include Family Camp, Camp Wannaklot, Teen Retreat, the Hit 'Em for Hemophilia Golf Tournament and a scholarship fund. Year end contributions to HoG will enable the organization to continue to bring people together in 2010 by providing the variety of programs and services to the bleeding disorder community. For questions or clarification please view the website at www.hog.org/fundraising or contact the development department at 770-518-8272 ext 213.
