We are pleased to announce that United HealthCare, a leading national health insurance company, recently recognized the value offered by Hemophilia Treatment Centers by including HTC pharmacies in their specialty pharmacy network. Now United HealthCare customers can choose HTC pharmacies such as Hemophilia of Georgia for their clotting factor products.
United HealthCare is one of the largest health insurers in the country and we are excited that they elected to include Hemophilia of Georgia and many other HTCs around the country as in-network providers for their customers who use clotting factor medications.
This action by an industry leading health insurer recognizes that people who receive comprehensive care through an HTC, including factor distribution, benefit from seamless coordination of care resulting in better outcomes and lower costs.
