Meet the Pharmacy Staff
This month’s featured employee is Julie Hayman, RN, Hemophilia of Georgia’s Clinical Nurse Coordinator. Julie holds an associate degree in nursing from DeKalb School of Nursing in Atlanta. Julie has always wanted to be a nurse. She came to the United States from her hometown of Manchester, England, in 1987. She worked as an au pair to a child with cerebral palsy. The family employed in-home nurses who inspired Julie to pursue her nursing dream. During her nursing career, she has worked for Children’s Hospital of Atlanta and for Hemophilia of Georgia.
Her family and her patients inspire her. She has two daughters (Zara age 13 and Remi age 11), a dog named Marley, a gerbil named Skippy, two cockatiels, and two Beta fish. It makes for a full and active home. She enjoys spending time with her family. She is a vegetarian and loves sushi, Indian and Thai food, and British candy.
