Dear HoG Staff:

Horizons in Hemophilia, June 2012

Washington Days 2012 3I’m writing to extend my gratitude for last week’s Washington Days trip. Not only was the trip informative, but it was my first time going to Washington, DC, so I thoroughly enjoyed all of the attractions.  Therefore I am extremely appreciative for the opportunity that has been given to me.

While there I was privileged to meet my congressmen, as well as to listen and engage in conversation with them.  But what was most amazing to me was hearing just how many variables are taken into consideration in order for HoG and NHF to function properly. From the stand point of a camper, that is all we see--Camp and Teen Retreat. But in order for us to be treated and cared for properly, we need each and every one of you all. So I want to let you all know just how much you are appreciated for the work you do day in and day out, as well as the opportunities and experiences you have afforded us.

I look forward to working with HoG in the near future, to lend a hand wherever I can.

Sincerely,
Benjamin H.
