Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers are at the heart of Hemophilia of Georgia and help us to fulfill our mission to improve the quality of life for all those affected by hemophilia and related bleeding disorders.

We hope you will consider sharing some of your time and talents with us by joining our team of dedicated volunteers. Listed below are some of the ways you can make a difference. If you're ready to volunteer, simply complete the volunteer application. If you have questions, please email volunteer@hog.org or call 770-518-8272.

Hit 'Em for Hemophilia

Volunteer-Golf-2021-600pxHemophilia of Georgia sponsors fundraising events throughout the year. These annual events include the Hit'Em for Hemophilia Golf Tournament. The tournament is held every year in the fall. Planning committee volunteers help coordinate decorations and event set-up and help with prize donations and corporate sponsorships. Event day volunteers assist with registration, decorations and set-up, and other tasks. There is something for everyone.

Family Programs

Volunteer-SpringFamilyCamp-2022-600pxIf you enjoy working with children, then we have just the volunteer opportunity for you. HoG sponsors a wide variety of youth and family programs during the year. These programs include an adolescent retreat, women's awareness programs, men's activities, and spring and fall family camp weekends. Each program is designed to provide a unique opportunity for individuals and families to share concerns and ideas with others facing similar challenges.

Camp Wannaklot
