Honoring the Legacy of Trish Dominic

The Story and Inspiration Behind the Program’s Namesake

The Trish Dominic Physician Loan Repayment Assistance Program was established in honor and memory of Trish Dominic, Hemophilia of Georgia's first Chief Executive Officer and one of the most influential leaders in the bleeding disorder community. Trish dedicated nearly four decades of her career to improving the lives of individuals and families affected by a bleeding disorder. Under her leadership, Hemophilia of Georgia developed innovative programs and partnerships that expanded access to care and strengthened support for the people it serves.

Trish understood that access to specialized care depends on having talented, committed physicians dedicated to serving the bleeding disorder community. She strongly believed in investing in the development of hematologists and other healthcare professionals who would provide expert care for future generations of patients. This program reflects that vision by helping recruit and retain hematologists who choose to build their careers at Georgia Hemophilia Treatment Centers. By supporting physicians as they establish and sustain careers in bleeding disorders, the program honors Trish's lifelong commitment to ensuring that individuals and families across Georgia have access to the specialized care they need.

Today, the Trish Dominic Physician Loan Repayment Assistance Program continues her legacy by investing in the people who make comprehensive bleeding disorder care possible and by strengthening the workforce that will serve Georgia's bleeding disorder community for years to come.
