March is Social Work Month! This year’s theme is “Uplift, Defend, Transform.” Hemophilia of Georgia honors and celebrates our social workers: Jordan Brewer, Melanie Farnham, Valencia Firmin, Olivia Stevens, and our Director of Social Work, Emily Brown. We are grateful for all they do to help improve the lives of those with bleeding disorders every day!

We spent the weekend enjoying beautiful Camp Thunderbird in Lake Wylie, SC and doing a few fun activities in Charlotte, NC. Teens got the choice to participate in a cookie decorating class or compete in a pit crew teambuilding exercise at the NASCAR Hall of Fame. To complete the evening in Charlotte, the teens headed to the food hall for dinner and fun with their friends and mentors. More...
Register today for Tee Off for Bleeding Disorders! This annual golf tournament will be held on Monday, March 23rd at Indian Hills Country Club. Hemophilia of Georgia is excited to announce two important opportunities to raise awareness and support the bleeding disorder community: Bleeding Disorders Awareness Month (BDAM) in March and World Hemophilia Day on April 17. Both campaigns focus on advocacy, education, and fundraising to support our global impact program to help people with bleeding disorders in underserved communities worldwide.

Camp Wannaklot will be held June 7-12, 2026! We are so excited to celebrate our 33rd summer of Camp Wannaklot at Camp Twin Lakes Will-A-Way in Winder, GA. Bus transportation will be available from Augusta, Savannah, and the Metro Atlanta Area. Stay tuned for more details!
