Welcome Camp Wannaklot Counselors!

The campers and the staff are so thrilled that you've chosen to spend an incredible week with us this summer. On the next few pages you'll find a lot of the information you need in order to prepare for a wonderful week of camp.

So, What Do Camp Wannaklot Counselors Do?

  • Work with the Lead Counselor to guide and direct the campers in a variety of activities
  • Provide leadership and support to assigned cabin group
  • Know where assigned campers are at all times
  • Maintain a positive attitude
  • Participate in activities in a way that provides for the health, safety and well being of campers and staff
  • Have fun!

And, What Do Camp Counselors Need to Know?

Camp Wannaklot Counselors should be familiar with hemophilia and von Willebrand Disease, the bleeding disorders that affect most of the campers at Camp Wannaklot.  In addition, counselors should understand the Camp Wannaklot progressive discipline policy.

Need More Information?

If you have any questions, need more information, or are just unsure about something, please contact Kim Wilson at 770 518-8272 or by email Camp and Activities Coordinator. Thank you for your commitment to the campers of Camp Wannaklot. Camp would not be possible without you and the time you are giving!
