About Us
Hemophilia of Georgia (HoG) is a nationally and internationally recognized Hemophilia Treatment Center (HTC) that provides comprehensive clinical care and psychosocial services to people with bleeding disorders in Georgia.
Founded in 1973 as a medical nonprofit (501c3), we also provide pharmacy services, education programs, and advocacy to meet the diverse needs of individuals and their families who are affected by bleeding disorders. Hemophilia of Georgia is:
- The only organization of its kind in Georgia dedicated to enhancing the health and wellness of the bleeding disorder community
- A trusted resource for medical providers and serves as the Southeast Regional Core Center
- Guided by a volunteer Board of Directors that includes individuals who have a bleeding disorder
- Continually working to enhance health care and quality of life, while actively pursuing a cure through research funding
As a community, we look forward to the day when we live in a world where people live free from bleeding disorders. Dedicated to the mission, we understand it takes more than medicine to support the bleeding disorder community.
Our Mission: Hemophilia of Georgia exists so that people affected by bleeding disorders live as normally and productively as possible.
